If you want tea towels in your kitchen that can start a conversation on the issue of urban sprawl and its impact of farming feel free to use the transfers below. They can be copied and pasted into a computer document. If you format and print the page in landscape two transfers will fit on a 8.5 x 11" page. I printed them on Transfer-Eze, an image transfer product you can find via an internet search. After printing on the Transfer-Eze, peel away the protective backing and the image sticks to fabric. A soak in cool water removes it when the embroidery is complete.
The border is borrowed from the Aunt Martha's #3510 Fruit Tea Towel iron transfer I purchased at a local antique mall. I chose to use this border to pay homage to Aunt Martha who has created embroidery transfers for more than 70 years. (Click on thumbnails to view enlarged images.)
